AN ENGLISH SEVRES STYLE THREE PIECE 'TOILETTE' SERVICE AND PLATEAU
IMPRESSED .J:., PROBABLY MINTON SHAPE 438, MID-19TH CENTURY
The tray modelled after a Sèvres 'Plateau Losange à Jours à Anses', painted with a garland of flowers, the everted sides moulded and gilt with zig-zagged turquoise batons enclosing trefoils and forming handles at each end, applied with two pommade-pots and covers, one with a liner, flanking a quatrefoil box and cover, gilt with a double D monogram within stave-work and set over a conforming ring
