Each emblematic of Blind Love, painted and hand tooled in white slip with either a male or female classical figure seated beside an oil lamp in a klismos chair, holding an open book inscribed with a heart, attended by a putto covering his or her eyes, above a scroll work bracket, reserved on a smokey brown ground, the gilt enriched neck and foot in blue and olive pâte-sur-pâte with vine or Vitruvian scrolls
