The rectangular brèche violette marble top above a spreading frieze and conforming case, the hinged cupboard door decorated with latticework and flowers around a central cartouche, all within a scrolling foliate encadrement, the bottom with 'hibiscus' mount, opening to reveal a single shelf, the reverse of the lock stamped CT LINKE/SERRURERIE/PARIS and numbered 832, the front angles mounted with espagnolettes, the sides with latticework panels, on slightly cabriole legs with foliate hips, joined by a similarly-decorated undertier and back, tapering to scrolled sabots
57¾ in. (146.7 cm.) high; 30 in. (76.2 cm.) wide; 16½ in. (42 cm.) deep
