WORKS ON PAPER BY WILLEM DE KOONING Painting, blotting, scraping, drawing. These actions barely begin to describe the dynamic creative process of de Kooning, who often worked -and used these techniques- on many works at once. In this manner, works on paper influenced, even created, many of his paintings on canvas.
