CIRCA 1880, IMITATION BLUE SEVRES MARKS
Of lobed oval form, painted after Watteau with two young ladies seated barefoot wearing 18th Century style dress, one holding a dove that carries a love letter, a sheep beside her, within garden landscape, the reverse with a bouquet within a shaped-oval scroll and diaper-pattern cartouche, with beast head terminals issuing loop handles, on an acanthus-scroll base support (light rubbing to gilding)
