A Sevres-style 'jewelled' dark-blue-ground ewer and stand
LATE 19TH CENTURY, IMITATION SEVRES MARKS
The ewer with slender tapering neck, and scrolled upright handle printed and painted with a youth and companion in garden landscape, within a tooled oval cartouche 'jewelled' with turquoise, green, white and ruby, the ground decorated with further 'jewelled' pendants, the stand painted with a border of floral garlands, the well 'jewelled' with a radiating star, within gilt rims (minor losses to 'jewelled' decoration, slight rubbing to gilding)
