CIRCA 1880, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, PAINTED AND INCISED NUMERALS
Modelled as a gentleman and companion seated on rocky-mounds, opening the cover of a jug encrusted with trailing flowers and painted with scattered insects amongst sprigs, the gentleman wearing a black wide-brimed hat, flowered purple jacket and turquoise breeches, his companion similarly modelled wearing a headdress, turquoise bodice, lilac apron and flowered skirt (very minor chipping)
