Lot Essay

There was a Sasshu ju Shigeyoshi of the Namihara School active around the Oei era. This smith is probably the Satsuma ju Oyama Chjikugo Nyudo Shigeyoshi who was the son of Namihira Shigezumi, active around the Tembun (1532-1555) and Eiroku (1558-1570) eras.
