Kitae [forging pattern]: itame with jinie

Hamon [tempering pattern]: choji gunome of nie, midare utsuri

Boshi [tip]: midare

Horimono [carvings]: bohi ni soehi

Nakago [tang]: o-suriage, four holes (one plugged)

Habaki [collar]: double, copper-gilt and shakudo

In shirasaya [plain wood scabbard]: with inscription of attribution to Chogi

Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 59.4cm.

Sori [curvature]: 0.8cm.

Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 3.2cm.

Sakihaba [width before tip]: 2.7cm.
