Blade hirazukuri, iori-mune, high shinogi, very long o-kissaki, forging pattern flowing o-itame with jinie, tempered edge sugu-ko-midare, kinsuji, sunagashi, midare boshi, short kaeri, naginata-hi, tang suriage, two holes, single gilt copper habaki, nagasa 69.6cm., sori 1.7cm., motohaba 2.9cm., sakihaba 2.8cm., in shirasaya

拍品专文

The registration document attributes the blade to Motoshige. There were perhaps two generations signing Motoshige. The style is varied, many are similar to Aoe with predominantly suguha with sakagunome, and utsuri. There are also pieces nearer to Soshu with strong Yamato influence, like this blade. The attribution does not seem unreasonable.
