Harima no kami Teruhiro was the son of Kanetomo, of the Kanetsune School of Seki, who moved to Geishu (Aki Province) in the early 17th century, and acquired the title Higo no kami, using the name Teruhiro. The second generation (this smith) acquired the titles Harima daijo and later Harima no kami, and was one of the pupils of Umetada Myoju.
