A broad oval shakudo nanako tsuba, inlaid in iroe takazogan with seated courtiers

Lot Essay
Tokinobu (1828-1879) was the adopted son of Sano Naoteru. He lived in Edo studying under Sano Naoyoshi and Naoteru. He became the third master of the Sano School.
