AN UNUSUAL CLOISONNE ENAMEL HEXAFOIL DISH

The dish is formed with wide rounded sides cast with bracket lobes, the floral silhouette emphasised on the gilt-metal mouth rim, the interior enamelled with a blue coiled dragon leaping amidst multi-coloured ruyi clouds against a turquoise-ground, the exterior divided into six panels, each enclosing a stylised lotus scroll above lappets encircling the gilt-metal foot, the base with a cell-pattern diaper with flowerheads
