The small square tray formed with indented corners, crisply carved with a central flowerhead encircled by two registers of ruyi scrolls radiating from the centre, the base on the reverse unusually decorated with a geometric motif of four squares enclosing foliate vines, the curved sides with classic scrolls (rim chip restuck, age crack reinforced)
