拍品專文

The sculptural composition of the present peach-shaped waterpot compares closely with that of a larger water-coupe from the collection of S. Bulgari, sold in these Rooms, 7 July 2003 (Catalogue dated 28 April 2003), lot 541; and another bowl illustrated by R. Kleiner, Chinese Jades from the Collection of Alan and Simone Hartman, Hong Kong, 1996, pl. 92, where it is noted that the sculptural quality of the bowl increases the link between nature and that of a utilitarian object.
