The large censer well carved from stone of very even milky-white tone, the rounded body undecorated to accentuate the purity of the material, flanked by a pair of loop handles carved as phoenix with their wings outspread against the side of the vessel, suspending loose rings, all raised on three cabriole legs emerging from monster masks, the domed cover with a ferocious Buddhist lion and cub group finely carved in the round
