YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS WITHIN A DOUBLE-CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)

Each dish is finely potted with shallow rounded sides, covered inside and out with a rich egg-yolk-yellow enamel, the base with a transparent glaze

Previously sold in these Rooms, 2 May 1984, lot 709.

A yellow enamelled dish of this date, shape and size from the Brian McElney collection and now in the Museum of East Asian Art, Bath, was included in the Museum's Inaugural Exhibition. Chinese Ceramics, Bath, 1993, illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 205.
