FIRST HALF OF 18TH CENTURY
The top carved in relief and applied with a lady reclining on a low table beside a seated boy and a gentleman standing before her, a lady attendant and dog to their side, the sides similarly carved and applied with birds, butterflies and insects amongst realistically and finely carved flowering branches, the details overall painted in shades of green, yellow, brown, blue and rose, the base corners applied with silver cabriole feet, some losses to ivory
