A RARE APPLE-GREEN-GLAZED STEM BOWL
UNDERGLAZE BLUE YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-35)
With steep rounded sides rising to a slightly flaring rim from a high broad stem, finely incised around the exterior with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems', above a border of ruyi around the base, the stem with a raised band of floretes, between classic scroll and 'sawtooth' bands, the exterior all under a thin translucent emerald green glaze pooling to a darker green in the incised work, the interior and base glazed white, rim hairline cracks
7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) diam.
