A PAIR OF CELADON-GLAZED GLOBULAR BOTTLE VASES
KANGXI (1662-1722)
Each supported on a circular foot-rim, and with a slender cylindrical neck, carved and incised around the body with a continuous design of scrolling lingzhi foliage inhabited by two striding chilong, below a band of upright overlapping foliate lappets above a narrow chevron border, the exterior of the mouth rim edged with ruyi lappets, all under an even pale green glaze stopping neatly around the foot rim, the interior and base glazed white, the base with an underglaze blue double circle
