ONE BEARING UNDERGLAZE BLUE QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95), THE OTHER UNDERGLAZE BLUE DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
Each supported on a short slightly tapering foot, enamelled on the exterior with four equidistant medallions outlined in gilt and enclosing a variety of blossoming chrysanthemums and other plants, all reserved on a blue sgraffiato ground embellished with stylised chrysanthemum sprays, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a central medallion of blossoming peony and chrysanthemum, below four clusters of further chrysanthemums around the well, one with hairline rim crack
