GILT DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
Enamelled throughout with a formal design of four lotus flowerheads borne on curly leafy stems, between basket of 'The Three Abundances' and musical stones, separated by tasselled 'endless' knots suspended from the mouths of bats, between a band of upright lappets around the base and key-pattern edged in ruyi lappets at the shoulders, the lotus repeated in a simplified form around the short cylindrical neck, the decoration similarly repeated on the domed cover below a globular finial formed as a bud, the interior and base glazed white, minor chips and associated cracks
