aquatint, 1952, on Arches, the second (final) state, signed in pencil, numbered 32/50, with full margins, very pale old mat staining, occasional pale foxing in the margins and on the reverse, pale moisture staining in the lower left margin corner and in places on the reverse, soft creasing at the upper right margin edge, old hinge remains and associated skinning at the reverse of the upper margin corners, otherwise in good condition, framed

It is interesting to note that the inscription in the top right of the plate reads 'Lacouriere', presumably a delivery instruction from the copper plate maker. As with the Le Repas frugal (B. 1), it seems that Picasso has made use of a previously used plate although in this case he has used the verso rather than the recto.
