one in the form of a black enamel band ring with the legend picked out in rose-cut diamonds IN MEMORY OF, the inside of the band with locket compartment and engraved and dated 1849, finger size - N; the other a tapering black enamel hoop set with an old-brilliant and rose-cut diamond floral motif, the inside hoop with locket compartment, circa 1840, finger size - I.
