A MODEL OF A COMPLETE GERMAN GOTHIC ARMOUR
German late 19th - early 20th Century
Of bright steel, made of separate parts corresponding to those of a full-sized armour, and comprising sallet and bevor, cuirass with double plackard and one-piece tassets, vambraces, legharness with pointed sabatons and fingered gauntlets, all decorate with radiating ribs and flutes in the late-15th century German Gothic style, accompanied by a model two-hand sword and a steel shield, and mounted in a wooden stand
