With three-stage cannon barrels, signed breeches, border engraved actions, engraved tangs, swelling walnut butts each carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, cast and chased mounts including pierced side-plates (one missing), escutcheons engraved with owner's crest and with a mask above and a shell beneath, and grotesque mask pommels, and engraved separate trigger-guards each with foliate finial (in worn conditon ,one cock repaired, parts missing), London proof marks
