Frank-Myers Boggs was an American painter who moved to Paris and became a naturalized French citizen. In 1877 he enroled at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts where he studied under Jean-Léon Gérôme and from 1880 onwards he exhibited regularly at the Salon.
