The circular top inlaid with a geometric patern of roundels and ovals within foliate and Greek key bands and with reserves inlaid in specimen veneers, above a similarly decorated frieze and a square baluster support carved as a four-storey classical villa, on foliate-carved double C-scroll legs, the underside inscribed in pencil 'Professore Nicóló Cozzo', and 'Taormina'
