Late Preclassic, ca. 300-100 B.C.
Of solid form, showing strong Olmec influences with minimalist attributes, rounded cheeks with lips parted, nose extending to the philcrum, thick, bisected brows and adorned with a headdress composed of the stylized upper jaw of a mythic creature, the latter with circular, sunken eyes and scalloped profile; in rich green-ochre serpentine; pierced at the sides.
