A turquoise glazed pear shaped vase with silver gilt lacquered mounts by Omar Ramsden, the vase 18th century
the vase incised to either side in low relief with an archaistic taotie mask, covered in a mottled turquoise glaze, the silver gilt mounts to the wood cover with a band of heart shaped apertures and bud finial supported by four sinuous dragons, the wood base with further gilt silver foliate mounts, the base plate with OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT inscription, all mounts with marks of Omar Ramsden, London 1922 -- 16¾in. (42.5cm.) high.
