A yellow ground ovoid jar and cover, 19th century
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a fierce dragon issuing from foaming waves, chasing a large flaming pearl all within swirling clouds on a yellow ground, the flattened cover similarly decorated, iron red fu character to base -- 13¾in. (25cm.) high.
