the pair of candlesticks with stems modelled as infant satyrs standing cross-legged against tree stumps, holding bunches of grapes and vine leaves in their arms, urn-shaped sconces on their heads, on spreading grape, vine and scroll cast bases stamped to the sides T. BLARD, the undersides stamped PICARD FEC -- 8¾in. (22cm.) high; and the pair of tazze en suite modelled as two young fauns standing back to back, with similar stamps, French, late 19th century -- 6¾in. (17cm.) high (4)
