A carved square ink cake, Qianlong mark and possibly of the period
carved to the front with a central inscription within a cell pattern border, on carved brounds of peony, prunus and chrysanthemum branches, the reverse with figures in a pavilion within a fenced garde,, Qianlong reign mark to one side, the other with an incription reading gu hua xuan tang mo -- 5¼in. (13.3cm.) wide.
