Of bombé form, the cushion-shaped emerald weighing 5.27 carats to the baguette and circular-cut diamond mount and platinum hoop (one diamond deficient) circa 1955, ring size 4, with maker's mark AJV, with French assay marks for platinum and gold
With report no. 43583 dated 15 September 2004 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, no indications of clarity enhancement
