AN IMPRESSIVE PAIR OF DIAMOND CUFF BRACELETS, BY TABBAH

From Boucheron, Cartier and Van Ceef & Arpels in the 1920s, to JAR in 2001, cuff bracelets or 'manchette' have been a bold creation of the finest jewellery houses and a daring statement for any woman. The pair of magnificent diamond cuff bracelets offered as lot 603, with approximately 250 carats of fine quality diamonds, represents the skilled workmanship and striking design from the renowned house of Tabbah. The Tabbah family business was initially established in the 17th century as a producer of fine patterned silk. In 1862 the jewellery house was founded in Beirut under the direction of Bechara Tabbah and today, under the auspices of the fourth and fifth generations, holds an international reputation for opulent diamond jewels of outstanding quality. As if paying tribute to the original Tabbah family roots, this beautiful pair of ribbon-link diamond cuffs is an impressive and historically apt creation. Cf.
