A Geographical Panorama exhibiting characteristic representations of the scenery and inhabitants of various regions, handcoloured aquatints cutout, published circa 1820, several scenes taken from the illustrations of Captain Cook's Voyages, forming panoramas when set up in grooves in the reverse of the lid of the box. Scenes include the Arabian Desert; Hindostan; Captain Parry in Baffin's Bay; Monsieur de Saussure ascending Mont Blanc; China; Aleutian Islands; The Society Islands; Lapland; Greece; and Kamchatka, in original mahogany box with printed label, mahogany and brass pillars and original descriptive pamphlet. S. 8.5cm x 26cm x 30cm. Scene No. VII and pasteboard arch missing, with duplicates Scene No. I., I.2, I.3, IV.
