CIRCA 1770-80, HE WITH INCISED No. 311
The gallant wearing a soft red pile hat, black-lined, gilt-edged green cape, green and gilt tunic and striped purple breeches, he playing a flageolet and tabor, before flowering bocage, on pierced gilt scroll base, his companion similarly modelled, her hair applied with a blue scarf, red bodice, yellow floral apron and gilt skirt, before flowering bocage, supported on a pierced gilt scroll base
He stands 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high (2)
