Lot Essay

William, eldest son of Frederick I, King of Württemberg (see preceding lot) and his wife Augusta Caroline of Brunswick, married Charlotte of Bavaria on 8 June 1808, secondly in 1816, Grand Duchess Catherine Pavlovna Romanov and thirdly, Pauline of Württemberg (see lot 240) in 1820.
