THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XXI-XXV, 1070-712 B.C.
Designed as a rectangular shadow box, the principal scene on the front in openwork, depicting the enthroned goddess Isis nursing the Horus child resting on her lap, wearing a cobra-modius topped with cow horns fronted by a solar disk, inscribed in the panel to her right, "Isis, mistress of the two lands," the right border containing the motto, "the good god," to the left, a falcon wearing a Double Crown over an ankh-sign, the lower corners filled with solar disk crowned serpents, the edges each perforated with five holes, those on the sides with a serpent's coils weaving between them, the back framed by an interlocking pattern, an enthroned pharaoh on a groundline within, containing the name Men-Kheper-Re and epithets
