Hermaphroditos Anasyromenos depicted as a draped female figure wearing a chiton belted below her breasts, a himation draped around her shoulders and wrapped around her left arm, lifting her skirt with both hands in the front, revealing the erect male genitalia below, the drapery falling symmetrically toward the base of the shaft, an iron tenon preserved at the neck for attachment of the separately-made head
