The god depicted nude, standing with his weight on his left leg, his right relaxed, his left arm akimbo, the fingers spread on his hip, holding his thunderbolt in his lowered right hand, his head angled slightly downward, his long hair combed forward, the wavy tresses surrounding his face and falling to his shoulders, the lidded eyes deep set, the forehead creased, the fleshy lips encircled by his moustache and beard, the individual strands of the hair and beard incised, a tenon preserved below the left foot for attachment
