Plaustrum Belgicum, from The Set of Large Landscapes (Holl. 8; Bastelaer 11; Lari 10)
etching and engraving, circa 1558, a good impression of the only state, with a countermark initial A, trimmed close to the border on three sides, slightly uneven at the lower sheet edge, several small skinned patches towards the sheet edges, the upper left corner made up, a thin line of abrasion into the subject at the upper left, several thin patches on the reverse, laid to a window mount at the sheet edges
