CIRCA 2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
Oval in form, the reverse with a hinged pin, the outer edge of the obverse with a band of hemispheres each topped with a single granule, with additional granules between the hemispheres along the outer edge, framed on each side by beaded wire, all framing the bezel-set cameo of two-layered glass, amber on blue, carved with a sleeping dog reclining to the left, his head resting between his paws
