The flat oval stone engraved with two fisherman in a boat, one casting the net off the ship's prow, the other securing the net from the back, the sea teeming with fish; mounted as a ring in a 19th century gold setting, the bezel inscribed in Latin, FACIAM VOS FIERI PISCATORES HOMINUM, "I will make you fishers of men," from the Gospel of Matthew, 4:19
