The oval stone in two layers, white on light brown, carved with a panther reclining with its head resting on its forward-extending forepaws, the right hind leg tucked below its body, the left hind leg along the body, the tail curving forward around the left edge; mounted as a ring in a modern gold late Roman-style setting
