HARD AT WORK ON 'SPACE AND PARALLEL STRUCTURES' AFTER A STRESSFUL VISIT TO THE UNITED STATES: 'BACK AGAIN FROM THE WHIRLPOOL OF AMERICA -- THANK GOD'. In spite of diligent searching, Einstein has not been able to procure any cactus: 'In the end we were informed, "we obtain all our rare cacti from Erfurt"'. Einstein would like to contribute something towards Hans Albert's removals, but prefers to send the money to Mileva, 'as I have more faith in your economical abilities'. He is 'working hard and enjoying the (relative) calm of Berlin. It's still on the question of space and parallel structures'.
