By 1961, the Bulova Watch Co. introduced the Accutron wristwatch. Instead of an oscillating hairspring and balance wheel, the Accutron movement was designed with a vibrating tuning fork which was powered by a battery.

This watch is accompanied by an original Bulova wooden presentation box and booklets.
