Lot Essay

Accompanied by a later Uhrenmuseum Glashütte Certificate and copies from the registers confirming sale of the present watch on 28 February 1929 to Fa. Arnold Herpy, Budapest, for Swiss Francs 256.50.

It is interesting to note that according to the copy of Lange's shipping log, the watch was delivered to the "Usine Genevoise de Degrossissage de l'Or", a company specialized in melting and refining of gold and to whom the amount of SFr. 256.50 was payable.
