Maker's mark probably unidentified (Rosenberg no. 4215), Nuremberg, dated 1651
On circular high-domed partly lobed foot, rising to a stem shaped as bacchus holding a cup in his hand, above three scroll and foliate brackets holding the lobed cup, the upper part with inscription, all-over engraved with dots and scrolls, marked on cup and footrim

The inscription reads: Manus e Commifsione perpetua Johannis Hartmanni Beijeri , Medici quondam Reipublica Franco furtensis et Vrsuloe Botzheijmice Conjugum Ao 1651
