Possibly workshop of Michael Mann, Nuremberg, circa 1600
Rectangular, on four ball feet, with pierced engraved shaped copper straps, engraved brass mounts, the front side engraved with scenes of a man and a woman facing each other, the backside with a rabbit and a dog, one short side with a fence and a tree and the other side with a man holding a spear, the base engraved with a horse, the hinged cover with a man and a woman facing each other, hinged curved knobbed handle, key hole concealed by strap, with key, lock not in working motion
